How to help

At Dona Ajuda, we take in items you no longer need, as long as they are still in good condition, so they can find a new home.

We accept men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, books, games, decorative items, dishes, technology, small appliances, among others.

After a proper sorting process, all items in good condition are put up for sale at low prices. Those who cannot afford to pay and come with a proper referral can take what they need at no cost. All proceeds from the sales go entirely to support our beneficiaries and the associations we support.

Volunteering at Dona Ajuda means giving a little of yourself to others and discovering just how rewarding that can be. It is realizing that a simple act of solidarity can make a significant difference in the lives of others.

At Dona Ajuda, we are always looking for help, whether you can spare an hour, a day, or a week – there’s a place for everyone. We offer a variety of areas where our volunteers can engage in what they love most: clothing, books, décor, music, customer service, recycling, culture, and more.
